I was born in Santos, on the coast of São Paulo, but my childhood had no fixed address. By the age of twelve I had moved house five times. While other children put down roots, I learned to love movement.
At eighteen I went to work on cruise ships. For years I lived between oceans, ports and cultures — sixty-one countries. And something began to hurt: I saw people travelling on autopilot. Bodies in motion, souls standing still. I saw people being moved from place to place where there could have been encounter.
I kept an old promise and settled in Switzerland. But I discovered the weight of perfection: security became a cage, excellence became pressure. In February 2025 my body stopped. The pain of staying the same became greater than the fear of change.
Healing did not come from speeding up. It came from the pause.
This is where NOMAX begins. Not as a product. Not as a retreat. Not as a promise. A space to stop without collapsing — a place where deciding too early is more dangerous than waiting.
Ikigai not as an answer, but as something you feel. Structure as containment, not pressure. No practice rules the process. No decision is pushed.
Before the decision. Before the collapse. Before the noise.
